Paperbacks were the primary vehicle of Science Fiction and Fantasy when the magazines began to die away after the War, thus some of the best SF of the 50's and 60's and even into the 70's was originally published in paperback. EYES OF THE OVERWORLD appeared as a nondescript 45 cent Ace paperback in 1966, although a wonderful cover illustration by Jack Gaughan. It went under almost everyone's radar but it has remained a perennial favorite among Vance fans—deservedly! This Gregg Press edition is a wonderful presentation in a buckram styled binding designed for permanence. Issued w/o d.j., with a small production. Fine unread copy.
