By: BRADBURY, RAY.
An uncommon little Ray Bradbury keepsake, being a slim booklet of only 16 pages including coversthat quotes the author's previously lost/unknown salute to his favorite month of the year , 'OCTOBER.' This poem had only existed as a primitive recording by Walt Daugherty, upon wax paper, that surfaced in Forrie Ackerman's collection. It was transcribed and published in an edition so limited as to be distributed to friends of the author only. In discussing this item with Bradbury friend/expert/super collector Donn Albright, we reckon there might've been 100 copies printed which is the most Ray would've allowed. This copy is SIGNED by the author.Short introduction by Daugherty and Preface by Bradbury. This copy was from the Roy A. Squires collection - friend and publisher of Bradbury!
