His comments, though a wee bit arrogant and snide, hold much merit. Pound is always a bit "uppity" in his writings: "Has literature a function? . . . despite the slime of bureaucracy, and the exercrable taste of the populace? . . . It has" - Pound, pg. 17. However he was an effing bloody original - if not genius! Hard to find Pound d.j's in good shape for some reason. Vg - in fair/poor d.j. British firsts from before the War can prove difficult.
