Another of Paul Cook's very handsomely printed issues upon slick paper with heavy paper covers. Lovecraft is noted in the BUREAU OF CRITICS section, with their appraisal of THE TRYOUT. In the current issue it is Arthur Goodenough that pays tribute to HPL ; Lovecraft though is noted under his pseudonyms, Edward Softly and Ward Phillips - "Mr. Softly attemps a mixture of the modern and the classic which is not always successful . . . " "Mr. Phillips gives plain sign of being an authentic poet, and the reviewer hopes he will make every effort to maintain the highest standards." Some soiling as evidenced in the scan but the magazine is well protected within the heavy covers. A v.g.- , copy.FROM THE HYMAN BRADOFSKY COLLECTION.
