Title ERNEST BRAMAH - KAI-LUNG SIX - PRIVATELY PRINTED 250 NUMBERED!
Edition [First edition].
Publisher Tacoma, WA., The Non-Profit Press, 1974.
Seller ID 481
This collection of six previously "fugitive" stories, remained ungathered in book form, until the 'Wild Bunch" of Northwestern bookmen of the Non-Profit Press: Morley Fox, Chuck Yenter, Phil Garland, Stanley Mueller, Michael Amos, Dudley Perrine, Ray Lyle, Robert Chambers, and Bradley Millard or as I liked to call them, "The Tacoma Boys," published it in an edition of only 250 numbered copies, in 1974. There is an excellent five-page background by William White, introducing the stories: The Story of Lam-Hoo & the Reward of Merit; The Story of Chung Pun and the Miraculous Peacocks; The Story of Yeun Yang and the Empty Soo-Shong Chest; The Story of Sing Tsung and the Exponent of Dark Magic; The Story of Kwey Chao and the Grateful Song Bird; and The Story of Li Pao, Lucky Star and the Intruding Stranger." Privately published & distributed, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. Unread copy. Fine in near fine d.j.
