In the early 1930's young fantasy fan, F. Lee Baldwin, wrote to Robert E. Howard asking him if he would sign some tearsheets from WEIRD TALES. Howard said that he would, and THE SHADOW KINGDOM—the twelve-page, first appearance of KING KULL, was signed in ink on the title-page by Rogert E. Howard. Full Robert E. Howard signatures are rare, especially in pen as the majority of his signatures are either initialled "REH" in pencil, or signed in full, in pencil. The tear sheets are in very good condition, housed in a cloth chemise and leather-bound traycase designed, made by the noted bookbinder, Gray Parrot. Included is a short signed letter from Baldwin to Robert Weinberg relating how he came by the REH signature, and included also is Robert Weinberg's original auction announcement. Add that uniqueness to your Robert E. Howard collection!
