Under the column-header, "Nightmare in Cthulhu," is an uncredited (though one presumes it to be Spcncer) two column article on Lovecraft, Arkham House, and the recent publication of "Beyond the Wall of Sleep.," by August Derleth and "Clark Wandrel." "Before he died Lovecraft had succeeded in constructing a complete and detailed imaginary cosmos and mythology, the real of Cthulhu, the sticky, green, winged water-god, Nyarlothep, forever howling in the outer darkness, and hordes of geater and lesser demons and deities, complete with genealogy, habitat and shpheres of influence." I intentionally left in the misspellings! Bedsheet sized, unfolded. From the Hyman Bradofsky collection.
