When I assisted in the gathering of some of the materials for this book I was at first very doubtful of the outcome, but I must applaud Jerad Walters' effort assembling the finest book that was ever done, and ever likely to be done, in presenting the majority of the artwork of Clark Ashton Smith; it is a remarkable book. Its popularity is evidenced by the fact that the book went O.P., in less than a year. Listed at the original in-print price. As new copies still in shrinkwrap. View more info

Up until SELECTED POEMS's publication in 1971, EBONY & CRYSTAL was the author's greatest poetry collection, as it contained his epic THE HASHISH-EATER. The book was inexpertly bound, lacking the endpapers, and the author was so upset that he didn't bother having his artwork design reproduced for a dust-jacket. The dust-jacket was printed up in an edition of 200 copies by Terence McVicker, to celebrate the hundreth anniversary of the poet's birth, in 1993. Issued in an edition of 500 [actually 525} signed, numbered copies. The best copy I've ever found of this book. A few corrections in View more info
